Festivals and Events
Summer and Winter a like you are sure to find a festival or event happening in Kimberley. Each event is sure to entertain family and friends. Stay tuned for a full events calendar.
Some of Kimberley's Festivals and Events include:
The biggest festival in Kimberley. The main attraction is the Canadian Boccee Championships, however you can’t go wrong with an array of local food vendors, beverage gardens and live entertainment. Other events include mens and womens soccer tournaments, parade, longboard races and a Saturday night Dance.
Running from May – October, 1st Saturdays is a monthly celebration of arts, culture and heritage.
Arts on the Edge
Arts on the Edge is a community cultural celebration, supporting local artists and providing a gateway for interaction and learning. Usually showcased on a 1st Saturdays Weekend.
The Kimberley Fall Fair takes place each year on the last weekend in September, hosting an array of exhibits, live entertainment, and much more.
The first weekend of June is home to the Marysville Daze. A pancake breakfast preceeds live entertainment, displays, and gymnastic and dance performances. There is also a craft fair during the day with a dance and spectacular light show.
Round the Mountain
An annual race held mid June, where participants choose from hiking, running and mountain biking around the North Star Mountain. There are kids races, live music, entertainment, food and drink. All events start and finish at the Kimberley Nordic Club.
The Kimberley Dynamiters are the local KIJHL Junior AA hockey team with weekly home games during the season.
